Each of the modalities I bring to you are highly effective in their own right. But when combined with a personalised and embodied approach, you can experience an empowering transformation from the inside out. 

Authentic You Therapy Methods

  • The InCorr® Method is a structured, body-centered framework that safely and gently guides you in uncovering the root cause of your suffering to heal the pain of the past. This powerful, goal-oriented practice is a cutting-edge response to the latest research which defines trauma as not something that happens to us, but within us. Read more here.

  • This approach assists you to resolve issues with which you may have struggled for some period of time. Embracing classical and analytical hypnosis, Solution Focused Hypno-Psychotherapy begins with counselling, uncovering what holds you back, what you really want, and how to achieve it. It is also a powerful technique for uncovering deeper issues through regression and to employ the mind and body for healing and pain management.

  • CBT and hypnotherapy are both evidence-based and scientifically proven methods which, when combined, are like ‘therapy on steroids’, helping you to overcome unwanted behaviours, phobias and challenges so you can be your best self.

  • Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is powerful coaching which helps you to understand your own mind, and make rapid, genuinely effective and permanent change. Ericksonian Hypnosis, an important element of NLP, is an elegant and effective way of uncovering what you really want on the basis that the answers always lie within, no matter how deeply buried they may be.

  • As a PTSD and Trauma-Informed therapist, I use the BLAST Technique® (Bi-Lateral Analysis and Stimulation Treatment). This practice treats PTSD efficiently and compassionately, with the aim to permanently heal embedded traumas. Read more here.

  • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as tapping, is a method that involves tapping on specific points of the body to help manage emotions and relieve stress and anxiety.

  • Gestalt Therapy is, by definition, person-centred: it focuses on the present environment and experiences that you are individually facing, and how this impacts your mental health. This practice goes hand in hand with IFS (Internal Family Systems), a model which divides the mind into subpersonalities - or ‘parts’. Together, this will help us to understand how different parts of your mind interact with the world around you.  

  • Pranic Healing is a systematic energy treatment, balancing, cleansing and energising your body’s energy fields. It has been proven to greatly help in the healing of both physical and psychological conditions, amplifying the body’s capability to heal itself.  

  • I trained with The Guided Meditation Framework as an Immersive Meditation Leader, and I have a range of bespoke offerings for both individuals and groups. See Authentic You Meditation for more information.

Authentic You Therapy is not a ‘one

size fits all’ approach - far from it.

You may come to me with a particular symptom or problem, but see our journey together as a peeling back of layers; there may be issues that flow to the forefront which you weren’t even consciously aware of. This is what informs our work going forward.

Depending on the therapeutic modality, we will work together for a different amount of time. If after our initial session/s you decide you would like to ahead with deeper, trauma-based work (the Incorr® Method), we make a conscious contract to work together for a minimum of 6 months.

For hypnotherapy-based work, I usually work in a series of 6 sessions initially. My whole approach is entirely tailored and led by what feels right for you. I see clients both in person and on Zoom - again, this is tailored to what suits you.
