Some cars need a ‘jumpstart’ to get moving in the right direction again.

When you’ve broken down, are in need of assistance, or lost your way — you may need a bit of extra help to get back on the road.

This is where a Therapy Intensive comes in. A 4-hour, intuitive, deep dive into where the road blocks are, and what is needed to find your way home.

What is a Therapy

Intensive?            

Put simply, a Therapy Intensive is a 4-hour session dedicated to you: to help you to feel less lost, overwhelmed and find some perspective and capacity to
to help you to uncover, explore and face directly what you’ve been struggling with.

An intensive provides the space, holding and safety for you to address the problem deeply, and to co-create the tools to move forward in the right direction.

It could be one 4-hour period that completely shifts the trajectory of your life.

I have an ability to help you to see the wood for the trees. To map out the bigger picture. I illuminate - the connection points. Aha moments. Bring to light the unconscious.

Things become manageable. You should expect to leave with hope.

It puts things in perspective. A clearer and bigger picture of what’s really going on.

Who are Therapy Intensives for?

You may find that you fall into one of the following categories

You need support with a specific decision or issue

You are at a crossroads in your life, struggling with something big.

Perhaps you don’t know whether to leave your relationship, change careers to the one you’ve always dreamt about, or make another big life shift. You feel conflicted, and the decision weighs you down more each day.

Or — maybe you are tired of the same issue recurring in your life. The same relationship pattern, destructive habit, work dynamic, worry or fear. It’s stopping you from living the life that a deep part of you knows you’re capable of.

Either way: there’s something happening in your life that is making you feel stuck and overwhelmed and you’re not sure where to turn.

I provide a combination of therapy, coaching and intuitive insight to help you to see all angles of the problem or decision and how they link to the deepest, most important parts of you.

This isn’t just an extended therapy or coaching session: this is a sacred, directed time for you to get everything out on the table, to be met and held in deep empathy and to get to the heart of what really matters to you.

‘Lifeboat’ intensives: for those struggling to cope

Sometimes, it all gets too much.

For whatever reason, there are times in life where you might feel that you can’t cope anymore. Like you’ve stalled, or completely broken down. Although this can feel very scary, if you’re feeling this right now, I’d like you to rememeber that you are not alone.

Whether you’ve been through a significant event or loss, or just feel at a crisis point for any number of reasons, an emergency, ‘lifeboat’ intensive can offer you a safe place to land.

The 4-hour period of holding and safety can provide the space you need to recalibrate, regulate and ride the waves of your emotions without drowning.

I meet you exactly where you are — and from there, I aim to help you to breathe again, to see a glimmer of light in the darkness. And hopefully, to feel like you can get back to shore, back to your life, quicker.

You don’t feel like 1 hour is enough                     

You may have been going to therapy for a while, and even though you find it helpful, you’ve been craving a longer session.

The traditional length of therapy (50 minutes) can sometimes feel a bit short, like you’re cut off just when you’re getting into the heart of what matters — which is why I offer an hour for my usual sessions. However, some clients want to make big shifts quickly.

Or — maybe you’re completely new to therapy, and you would like to have an in-depth, longer session to kickstart your therapy journey or as a complete one-off.

A therapy intensive can sometimes be the most efficient (and cost-effective) way for you to address what you’re strugging with head on. It could be the jumpstart you need to get back on track to the life you actually want to lead.

The biggest shifts in the quickest amount of time.

Instead of 1 hour/90 minutes of therapy, an intensive is 90-minutes to 4 hours of therapy - tailored to your needs.

For those that don’t have the time.

What’s included in a

Therapy Intensive?    

In intensive sessions I use a combination of techniques, entirely tailored towards what is best for you. This is something that we decide together throughout the process.

This generally includes person-led and trauma-informed practice as a baseline. I may also include hypnotherapy and BLAST®/EMDR depending on what you’re struggling with.

For those who want help with a specific life decision, I incorporate intuitive-psychic guidance to help us to explore potential blind spots or areas you may have missed.
